It is critical to follow all aftercare instructions to prevent complications, scarring, and to achieve optimal results. Please read carefully.
WHAT TO EXPECT FOR POST TREATMENT.
FIRST THING’S FIRST:
Treatment day / Stage 1
Red bloody eyebrows
Big red dry scab
dark brown/red flakes come off
pink new skin
wear makeup but must still put on vitamin E oil (yes you can do both)
skin turns back to normal
THE AREA MUST BE KEPT SANITARY. The treated area will be left open to the air for 15 minutes post treatment and then a non-stick bandage will be used to soak up any excess bleeding or liquid. Remove bandage after bleeding has stopped 30-45 minutes post treatment and leave open to the air. Avoid touching your eyebrows to prevent the chance of infection.
NEVER SUBMERGE THE TREATED AREA IN WATER. Shower regularly, avoiding the brow area altogether. If water gets on your brows, gently pat dry immediately. Soaking the eyebrows or letting water sit on them will destroy the scab
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SOAK THE AREA. No swimming, saunas, hot tubs, tanning, or intense sweating due to exercise or excessively heated environments.
DO NOT ITCH, PICK OR TOUCH THE SCAB. The scab is necessary for success. Disrupting the scabbing process or forcing the crust off can cause scarring and/or affect the healed result.
YOU CANNOT WEAR MAKEUP ON THE TREATED AREA (BROWS) You must wait until the scabs have completely fallen off before applying any makeup. Makeup could contain harmful bacteria that could cause an infection in the treated area.
BE GENTLE WITH THE TREATED AREA The treated area must be kept dry for the first 24 hours. For sanitation, use the provided alcohol pads during this time to sanitize by gently swabbing the treated area. ABSOLUTELY NO CREAMS OR BEAUTY PRODUCTS ARE TO BE USED OVER THE AREA UNTIL THE SCAB HAS FALLEN OFF.
WHEN SCABBING HAS NATURALLY RUN ITS COURSE. Apply Vitamin E oil three times a day for four weeks. (Vitamin E can be purchased at any pharmacy or Walmart). This will accelerate the healing process. DO NOT start applying Vitamin E oil until all scabbing has fallen off, and you are entirely healed. The treated area must be kept dry until the scab has fallen off.
FAQS MICROBLADING AND TATTOO COLORLIFT
What is ColorLift?
ColorLift is a reverse tattoo. It is a unique treatment designed to lighten and lift out unwanted pigment from microblading and tattoos.
How does it work?
ColorLift is a process in which the skin on the eyebrows is punctured using a non-damaging round needle configuration. This needle, coupled with the solution, draws the pigment into the scab. In 5-11 days, the scab falls off, taking a great deal of pigment with it. The answer is organic and chemical-free.
Does it hurt?
Most people describe the discomfort a 0-3 out of 10 for the first pass (the pre-numb). After the skin is open, a second numb is used, which shall further reduce discomfort.
How many treatments will I need?
The depth and vibrancy of the pigment will dictate how many treatments are needed. This will vary from person to person. Microblading dyes can be implemented shallower in the skin and may require only 1-3 treatments, whereas tattoos that are deep in the dermis and rich in pigment may take 3-8 treatments or more. Each situation is different, and therefore the number of treatments needed will vary.
Does ColorLift work on all colors?
Yes. This technique, unlike lasers, is not color specific. Because of this, ColorLift is much more effective than lasers. Lasers can take up to 12 treatments to remove ink and is color accurate.
Can I go to work the next day?
You can continue your daily routine as usual. Unfortunately, brows MUST scab for a successful lift-out; although this process is not particularly uncomfortable, the appearance of the brows will look somewhat crusty. This is necessary for success.
My skin is really pink underneath, is that normal?
Yes, when the scab falls off with pigment in it, your new fresh skin will be pink. The skin will turn back to normal in the coming weeks
How long before I can come back again for another treatment?
You must wait a full 5-6 weeks before returning for another ColorLift. The skin must be fully healed and back to normal before the process can be repeated.
Can I remove only part of my brow?
You can, but we charge each client the same fee.
Can I get microblading after getting my old tattoo removed?
Yes. Our goal is to provide you with a great new set of brows after your old ink is removed however, we must wait 5-6 weeks to make sure the area is fully healed.
How long does ColorLift it take?
We start each treatment with education to prep the client for the procedure. ColorLift appointments take 1-1.5 hours.
Is there anything else I need to know?
ColorLift does not remove the scar tissue from damaged brows from a huge tattoo or microblading pressure. In some cases, there is thickened skin from bad microblading or multiple tattoo re-pigmentation.

Skin varies extensively from person to person. So, this being said and understood, all ColorLift treatments provided by BrowBeat are unique cases and will be assessed individually.
COLORLIFT IS A MULTI TREATMENT PROCESS. THE BEGINNING POINT WILL NAVIGATE THE ENDING POINT. A CLIENT WITH MICROBLADING MAY SEE FASTER RESULT THAN A CLIENT WITH TATTOOING. MULTIPLE TREATMENTS MAY BE NEEDED TO ACHIEVE THE DESIRED RESULT.
Skin is not a one size fits all situation. Our client’s skin tones, elasticity, thickness, bleeding, lymph excretion, and healing all differ from person to person. Additionally, excessive sun, poor aftercare, prescription medications, and lifestyle can all impact healed results. We cannot know with complete certainty what an improved result will be because of these factors.
By booking a ColorLift appointment all clients agree to release BrowBeat, all of its agents and employees from and against any and all claims, loss, damage, injury, cost (including the cost of attorney fees) charges, liability or exposure however caused, resulting from or arising out of or in any way connected with the treatment.
